Pioneers in "transforming society, beginning with the brain".
CogSmart Co., Ltd. is a medical and healthcare service company born from the Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer at Tohoku University. Based on the latest medical research, we aim to raise awareness of healthy brain-building in order to prevent dementia and develop a healthy brain for life.
Specifically, we aim to decrease the number of future dementia patients, increase the healthy life expectancy in the upcoming super-aged society, and reduce the associated societal costs.
Additionally, all members are driven by passionate goals such as preventing as many people as possible from suffering from dementia, keeping Japan and the world healthy through future generations, and contributing to the creation of a sustainable society.

Our Story
CogSmart Co., Ltd. is a medical and healthcare service company born from the Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer at Tohoku University. Based on the latest medical knowledge and research findings, we aim to promote the societal dissemination of "Brain health to prevent dementia" and "Lifelong brain health."
Specifically, we aim to achieve "restraint of future dementia patients," "extension of healthy life expectancy in the upcoming super-aged society," and "restraint of social security costs (medical and nursing care expenses) and social costs."
Furthermore, all members are actively involved with passionate aspirations such as "wanting as many people as possible to not suffer from dementia," "wanting to continue to energize Japan and the world in the generations of our children," and "wanting to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society."
